Howla Hay Farm has a Caravan Club approved 5-van CL site. The site (which does have a gentle slope) offers pleasant views over the farm and across Guisborough Forest whilst retaining privacy and shelter by being surrounded by established trees to two sides. The site is open year round. The Electricity points are easily accessible along the perimeter of the site and work on individual circuit breakers. Drinking water and waste facilites are currently situated in a convenient enclosed area away from the pitches. Saltholme RSPB Reserve: Fabulous, huge wetland reserve. State of the art visitors centre, pond-dipping and play area for children. You can even take your bike and explore the reserve. A great family day out. North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway: a step back in time. Travel through the wonderful moorland on one of the spectacular steam engines lovingly maintained by the volunteer staff of the railway. Stop off at the charming villages and towns along the way. Guisborough Forest and Walkway: There are way-marked walkways through the forest, two dedicated cycle tracks, woodland play areas and easy walking access to the surrounding countryside and various circle walks.
