Situated in the National Park just 1 mile from Gosforth, within walking, cycling distance of Wastwater, the beaches of Seascale and Drigg. Direct access from the site onto miles of bridleways and footpaths, riverside walks, fells and forestry, exactly 1 mile from the nearest pub which serves quality food. The village of Gosforth has several pubs, an Italian restaurant and well-stocked village store. Our site has 2 hard standings and 4 grass pitches, the choice is yours, if you require hard standing please indicate on booking. The grass is level and mown, part of the site is an amateur arboretum which several specimen trees including 2 cork oaks, tulip trees, several specimen oaks and fruit and wild cherry, this is left uncut for you to explore. + Quiet, flat mown grass site on a 2 acre paddock surrounded by wild flower meadows. + WC on site.

Within easy reach of the beach and western fells. Wastwater and Scafell are just up the road. Within 5 miles of the site there is a championship golf course at Seascale, the miniature railway which runs from Ravenglass to Dalegarth in Eskdale, great for doing circular walk and back on the train. Dalegarth waterfalls have just had disabled access installed. Muncaster Castle is also the main attraction with the Castle, gardens and amazing bird of prey flying display.
