The Siding is a secluded site on the edge of the rural village of Cawston with good access from the B1145 between Aylsham and Reepham in the heart of Norfolk. The site is lawned, with electric hook-ups, recycling and waste disposal. Entrance is controlled via an automated gate which also provides site security. Claire and Tim established the cl 9 years ago. It is located at the old railway station at Cawston which was part of the LNER. The old track bed now forms part of the Marriotts Way, a 26 mile footpath and cycle route which links Norwich to Aylsham and then on to Wroxham. The village of Cawston has a pub, cafe/deli and village shop, all well within walking distance. It is also on a bus route. Also adjoining the site are two, one bedroom holiday properties which are available for holidays and short breaks.

St Agnus church in Cawston is a dominant feature of the village. It’s 120 ft tower and magnificent hammer beam roof with carved figures on either side is a must see feature. Marriotts Way adjoins the site. It is a 26 mile footpath and bridleway as well as being part of the National Cycling network. It follows the old track bed between Norwich and Aylsham also linking up to further footpaths and trails.
