Welcome to our CL at Paddock House, near Saltburn, on the North Yorkshire coast. You will enjoy lovely views of rolling countryside and distant sea views, on our peaceful site. We offer electric hook up at all pitches, of which 3 are hardstanding and 2 are grass pitches. They are arranged over an L shape at the top of a part sloping field, but pitches are level, with grass area below where children can play safe or for you to relax. There is a dog walk on site and walking access to many nearby walking paths. We are within a mile of the Cleveland Way (a 110mile walk ) with some beautiful scenery. We are situated between two villages, Skelton and Lingdale, one mile to each in a vehicle, or walking over fields, where you can shop for groceries, or use the pubs and cafes. Saltburn a beach town is very popular with visitors is 5 mins in the car. Whitby is a beautiful historic harbour town 30 mins away.

From £12.50/night assuming 2 adults. Any additional adults or children are £2.50 extra per person Electric hook up included. Awning and dogs included Max 3 dogs per outfit unless prior arrangement. No deposit at present, but if you can’t make it please give us 7 days notice, so we can try to rebook your pitch.

Saltburn by the sea is 3 miles away by car or foot, easily walkable over fields, footpaths and through woodland. It is a fabulous Victorian seaside town, it has a 6 mile beach up to Redcar, it has 2 surf schools to try surf lessons and stand up paddle boarding, lots of simple fun on the beach, mini golf, oldest water powered funicular cliff lift, family friendly arcade, walks, cafes and restaurants and award winning fish and chips. https://yorkshiretots.com/6-reasons-to-visit-saltburn-by-the-sea-in-north-yorkshire/ Skelton has large supermarkets (Asda and Aldi and Coop) and smaller independent shops , and cafes. Cafe and toilets, Guisborough historic market town offers twice weekly markets and many independent shops. Within 3 miles, you are on the North Yorkshire Moors, with its expanse of ancient moors, many picturesque villages and walks. Whitby is a fantastic town, with park and ride in summer months, Whitby Abbey, the 199 steps, beach, amusements, lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. The North Yorkshire moors steam railways 20 minute drive away, to just watch the trains come in or to hop on one and take a ride over glorious countryside. Pickering and several National Trust and English heritage sites nearby Ormesby Hall, Whitby Abbey, are within a 20 minute drive. York, Durham and Scarborough within an hours drive.
