Maudland Farm House Certificated Location is a restful site, situated on a small working farm in rural West Wales, with sheep, chickens, ducks and Cerys the pony. Children are welcome, under supervision, to collect eggs, feed the cats and count the sheep. New for 2022 children's playground. We also run our own assault course, gym, boot camps, archery courses and personal training. Our son, who lives on site, is a qualified sport masseur and lower back pain specialist. The site is in a 0.75 acre field with 4 hardstanding, which have their own electric, water and waste water points. There is space for an awning beside each pitch. There is also space for pitches on the grass, conditions permitting. Our entrance is over 20 feet wide, with easy access off a double lane 'B' road. As we are on the top of a hill, the views are impressive, with Snowdon visible in the distance on a clear day. The toilets and shower are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our £20 per night includes 8kw hours of electricity, anything over will be charged at 20p per kw. We are situated very centrally for the Ceredigion coast with its many small bays; Pembrokeshire with its National Park, its many attractions and the coastal path; and Carmarthenshire with its various gardens, the Dylan Thomas attractions at Laughne and the wetlands centre for avid bird watchers. The site often has Red Kites and Buzzards overhead and the Cuckoo's can be heard from 23 April until July. The towns of New Quay, Aberaeron, Cardigan, Carmarthen, Llanelli and Swansea are all less than an hours' drive away. Although rural, there are restaurants, pubs and shops within 5 miles. Dogs and cats are welcome, with the ususal CL rules applying. We try to make all our visitors feel at home and all feedback and new ideas are welcome.
