Swallows View is set on the Somerset Levels and is a peaceful, adults only, cosy site that is enclosed by mature hedgerows teaming with bird life. There is ample space for 5 outfits, each pitch having their own water tap and electric hookup point (10amps). There is a hand sanitiser station located next to the chemical/grey waste, recycling and composting facilities. We have now installed Terram grass protector semi hard standings to every pitch along with a run through the centre of the campsite to make it easier to arrive and leave the site. There are 3 pubs within walking or cycling distance if you're feeling energetic, or a very short drive away. There is a very well stocked village shop which houses our local Post Office and also stocks Calor Gas. With the beaches of Minehead, Burnham-On-Sea, Brean and Weston-Super-Mare to the West and the infamous town of Glastonbury and other famous locations such as City of Wells, Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole to the East there is plenty to do, not forgetting Clark's Village for a little retail therapy, all within a 30 minute drive. We are a few minutes drive (or nice flat bike ride) from all the nature reserves, Avalon Marshes, Ham Wall (RSPB, dogs welcome), Catcott Complex, Westhay Moor (dogs welcome) but to name a few, with the famous displays of Starling Murmurations in Autumn.
