On the edge of the New Forrest, Stock Lane Farm has been a family working farm since 1890 and has been welcoming caravaners and camper vans since the 80's. We are still a working farm and your views may change from wild or hay meadows to grazing sheep! We are a haven for wildlife including deer and birds, bird watchers often come to see our families of Red Kites and other birds. The peace and tranquility we have in our beautiful peace of heaven, draws locals to spend weekends with us too! Our dog friendly site has space to walk your pets. Providing our fields are not both being used for sheep, your are welcome to exercise your well behaved pets. We have bus stops nearby that will take you from Salisbury to Southampton, with Paultons (pepper Pig World), Romsey and Totten in between. Beaulieu Motor Museum, Stonehenge and Bovington Tank Museum are all in the local area and just short drive away. There are plenty of walks in the area and we have lots of leaflets and information on local walks and things to do nearby, just ask! Other local facilities include; dog friendly pubs, car charging facilities, local farm shop, post office, stores, butchers, Indian restaurant, lavender garden and cafe, garden centre with hardware store and cafe, local auction, mobile chip van outside Landford Stores on a Tuesday (they're delicious!) and the local Chinese takaway in Salisbury will deliver on site too. We are always happy to help with your needs and ensure you have a wonderful stay.
