Stembridge Farm is situated on the northern side of the beautiful Gower peninsular (Britain’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), it is a tranquil site, set on a small working farm with views of the glorious Cefn Bryn. Children and pets are welcome to the site (dogs must be kept on leads). The site is situated in a large field and set out into 5 fenced pitches each having an electric hook up, each pitch has both a hard standing and a grassed area with room for car parking, awnings, table and chairs and BBQ. WiFi is also available. There is a chemical waste disposal point a fresh water tap and recycling bins. The site is in an ideal position to explore Gower, it is situated just 4 miles from the spectacular Llangennith beach which is on the eastern edge of the Gower Peninsula, the beach is dog-friendly, family-friendly and great for water sports, especially surfing. It is 8 miles from the award winning Rhossili beach and it’s famous worm’s head headland. Mumbles is 13 miles away, which has a cosmopolitan village feel with it’s mix of shops and bars, it was one of Dylan Thomas’ many stamping grounds and is home to some world class ice cream. The city centre of Swansea is just 12 miles away, with it’s indoor market which is the largest in Wales, Dylan Thomas’ childhood home, the Dylan Thomas Centre and the Marina housing the Waterfront Museum. Gower also has over 200 miles of footpaths and rights of way, there is no better way to fully appreciate Gower’s wonderful coast, views, castles and countryside than by walking its many paths. Just 0.7 miles away (easy walking) is the Greyhound Inn which has a wide varied menu, it’s own brewery, a children’s outdoor play area and welcomes dogs. In Llanrhidian Village 1.5 miles away is Dolphin Inn, which has a variety of traditional snacks and a beer garden overlooking the salt marsh of Llanrhidian, or a stout walk over Cefn Bryn (not advised at night) brings you to the King Arthur Hotel in Reynoldston. There is a well stocked shop and post Office situated in the local garage 1.5 miles away and a supermarket in Penclawdd 6 miles away.
