We have been running Specky Wood C.L for many years and thoroughly enjoy welcoming back regular visitors (some of whom have been coming back year after year) as well as introducing new club members to this unspoilt part of Cornwall. Our 1.5 acre site is flat, has easy access and the grass is kept short. It is a well maintained, secluded, spacious site set in the quiet hamlet of Trevothan about 1 mile from Coverack. Coverack is a beautiful Cornish fishing village with an unrushed, relaxing quality about it. There is a picturesque harbour, thatched cottages and many other attractions including a sandy beach (at low tide), rock pools to explore, windsurfing school, a popular pub, general village store, restaurants, cafes as well as speciality shops and a gallery. The village Website is certainly worth looking at, with information on what’s on and more details about the above attractions. We are in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and are conveniently positioned for the S.W coastal path. There are many attractions locally, which can be linked to if you visit our Website. We aim to make all our visitors feel welcome and our site has a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Children and animals are allowed but we ask that dogs are kept on leads whilst on the site and dog owners are responsible. The site is part hardstanding Toilets and showers on site need to be booked in advance of use, please speak to owners when booking.
