Lower Farm Caravan Site

Gussage St Michael, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 5HZ, Dorset, BH21 5HZ, Wimborne

My CL site is in a secluded field close to farm buildings and my farmhouse nearby. The working family farm is part of the Cranborne Chase in an area containing many Iron Age earthworks and forms part of an AONB. There are many miles of Bridleways and Footpaths which can be accessed directly from the site, making it particularly suitable for walking and cross-country cycling. Some bridleways rise to 385ft and offer superb views over the Cranborne Chase and North Dorset. The farm has won several awards for its projects creating habitats for wild life and botanical species, which can frequently be seen in their natural environment. The site offers each pitch with a hard standing and lawn area, electric hook-up (on £1 or £2 coin meter), Grey waste outlet, shared water point and Wi-Fi. Well behaved children and dogs are welcome. Private visits can sometimes be arranged to a local museum which contains many ancient artifacts from the local area. Places of interest within a 20 mile radius include Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, The New Forest, Isle of Purbeck and Poole Harbour. The world famous Great Dorset Steam Fair which is held at the end of August/early September is only 4 miles away. Short Breaks: 4 nights 12 noon Monday-12 noon Friday: £42.00 Grey Waste - some shared water points, enabling a supply by tap or pitch occupiers own hose.
