A level site, beautiful views and nature all around you! The path to the wash-room is kept mown, and runs between a swathe of grass, dotted with buttercups and other wildflowers. You can choose your own pitch, depending on which view you prefer. Each electric post has a water tap as well as the socket so that you don't have to trundle around the field with a water container. The washroom contains two showers, two loos, two basins and a sink. At the moment the water and the showers are heated electrically. Access is straightforward, only a mile off the main road (A3121) along what appears to be a narrow road, but you soon come to a crossroads, and thereafter the road is wider with wide verges for passing if necessary. Because it runs along an ancient ridgeway - along the top of a hill, it is almost flat, so an easy drive. Please do not be tempted to use a Satnav, it is likely to take you right through the village (narrow!) and up a very steep hill - not good for your clutch!
