Welcome to Coney Grey Farm The site which is on a working farm is set in 0.5 acres of land with fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and is open all year round. The CL is on a very gentle slop with some pitches needing levelling blocks. All pitches are on grass with 16 amp electric hook ups. There are several public houses about 2 miles that serve meals. We have a good wide access off the B6013 Chesterfield Road, which links the A610 near Ripley and the A615 at Oakerthorpe. We are situated in the Amber Valley area on the outskirts of Pentrich Village - famous for the last Revolution in England in 1817. There are several public footpaths across the farm. Dogs are welcome but please keep them under control and on a lead when walking them. Children are welcome. Junction 28 of the M1 is 9 miles away and the A38 is 2.5 miles away in Ripley. Crich Tramway Village is 4 miles away. For steam train enthusiasts, there is Midland Railway (4 miles) in Butterley near Ripley and others a little further afield. Matlock, Derby, Mansfield and Chesterfield are a 30 minute drive away. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall, Kedleston Hall and Carsington Water are all about 40 minutes drive away. Belper and Denby Pottery are also not far away. There is a Golf Club and coarse fishing within 4 miles. A selection of leaflets on places to visit are available from the farmhouse.
