This family run site offers a quiet haven in a beautiful and unspoilt part of the Wiltshire countryside. Set on the edge of the village of Great Somerford it offers a secluded spot set in a 4.5 acres field surrounded by mature trees and hedges. It is very private but also close (within a few minutes walking distance) to the village shop and pub. The site has grass pitches set in a beautiful meadow with mains water, chemical disposal point, grey water point and recycle waste bins. You have lots of space so that you can pitch quite a long way from the next caravan. The water taps and CDP are also close the pitching area. There is a well-stocked village shop (best in Wiltshire!), post office (including cash point) and village pub within 200 metres. The many footpaths and byways in the area offer stunning walks and great cycling. The river Avon runs past the village with more lovely walks through river meadows, swims and fishing tickets can be bought from the village shop.
