Moorhaven Farm CL is a small 18-acre smallholding with 7 pet sheep and 2 horses in the fields adjacent to the CL and free-range chickens who wander the farm and yard. The CL is in an easy to reach rural location away from traffic noise where the pace of life slows considerably and with relaxing views of open countryside, woods and farmland. Opportunities to see various types of wildlife including badgers, deer and a variety of birds including birds of prey can be seen when exploring the forestry commission woodland which is adjacent to the CL. The CL has 2 hardstanding pitches, we are open from March to end of October weather dependant and we have the following amenities:- • Fresh water supply from our own borehole with up-to-date filtration and sterilisation, tested annually to confirm its purity • Chemical disposal point • Recycling facilities • Battery charging • Fresh free range eggs • We welcome well behaved dogs and children

Our Caravan Club site is on open farmland with wide ranging picturesque views. Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor can be seen from the CL site on a good day with both within easy reach. Exmoor is about approximately 1 hours’ drive from the site. We have a Forestry Commission woodland adjacent to the site where various species of deer, badgers and other wildlife can be seen in this free access woodland which is good for general walking, dog walking and exploring. The North Cornwall heritage coastline with opportunities for surfing, swimming, sea and fresh water fishing and other water based activities are but a short drive away. Opportunities for walking are available on a section of the South West coast long distance path; Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor as well as local footpaths. The historic market towns of Holsworthy, Tavistock, Launceston, Bodmin and Bude, are all within a short drive. Doc Martin's Port Isaac, Boscastle, Tintagel and Padstow are also relatively close by with Plymouth, Barnstable, Bideford a little farther a field and Penzance, The Lizard and Land Ends about 2 hours drive Our CL is central to a wide range of places of interest and other amenities whatever the weather.
