Our site is in the peaceful, rural hamlet of Standish, just minutes from Junctions 12 and 13 of the M5. It is set on our family run arable farm. Standish has a very beautiful Grade 1 Listed 14th Century Church with an imposing spire which is floodlit during the winter months and can be seen from the site. The bells can often be heard on a Sunday morning or a Friday evening. The 3/4 care site is easily accessed and level. It is in a sunny spot with pockets of shade. The grass is regularly mowed and there is some hardstanding. A maximum of 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome. There are ample 16amp hook ups for you to choose where to park and there is good TV reception as well as free Wi-Fi. The area is ideal for walking being in an AONB. There are several footpaths and bridleways around the farm. The Cotswold Way runs nearby as do the Gloucester to Sharpness and Stroudwater Canals.

There are several footpaths and bridleways around the farm which provide some lovely walks close at hand. The Cotswold Way runs nearby as well as do the Gloucester to Sharpness and the Stroudwater canals where there are some lovely cafés to stop for a coffee and home-made cake! The site is an ideal base for exploring the nearby Cathedral City of Gloucester with its regenerated docks as well as the Regency town of Cheltenham with its exclusive shops and Stroud with its award winning Farmers' Market. There is a bus stop very near the farm entrance which will take you into Gloucester or into Stonehouse and Stroud. Stonehouse, which is two miles down the road, has a supermarket, pubs, take-aways, as well as doctors, vets, banks and other local shops. The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge is only 20 minutes' drive away, as are the delightful Cotswold villages of Tetbury, Painswick and Nailsworth. If you have time to explore a little further, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold attract tourists from all over the world.
