Glangwenlais is a working farm nestled among some of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the country. Miles of footpaths running directly from the site take you to waterfalls and forests, steep valleys and expansive upland moorlands, and everything in between. We also have excellent mountain biking trails a short distance away and host the Gritfest mountain biking event every year. The local market town of Llandovery has everything you could need for a trip away, including a selection of shops, cafes and pubs, all set at the base of the ruins of Llandovery Castle. Further afield lie gold mines, caves, reservoirs, nature reserves, stunning coast lines and the famous Brecon Beacons National Park, among many other things. When you’ve finished exploring all that you can return to our friendly local pub just half just a mile away, or simply relax in the peace and quiet of our site watching red kites and buzzards fly overhead, waiting for darkness to spot shooting stars against milkyway
