Bath and Bristol,  a pair of West Country destination cities, offer fabulous contrasts of historical and contemporary attractions.

Bristol, famous for the Clifton suspension bridge, SS Great Britain, vibrant docks cafes, and balloon festival is juxtaposed with Bath, just 20 minutes away, a UNESCO world heritage site with stunning Georgian architecture based around the Roman Baths.

To make the most of these two cities, we'd recommend staying at the brand new off-grid CL called Old Mills in the quiet countryside near Paulton.  There's an amazing farm shop almost next door called Farringtons which also has a restaurant and play area for children. It also has a Fish & Chip shop.
