The site is within two miles of beautiful, sandy beaches and the area is much loved for good walking or cycling.  If you are into Steam trains then the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway is on your doorstep.

Known as “Kent’s Mainline in Miniature”, this world-famous railway line with its one-third full-size locos utilizes 13½ miles of track from the Cinque Port town of Hythe, terminating in Dungeness; a National Nature Reserve. With 4 stations in between, all within walking distance of a beach, the railway provides you with an opportunity to explore this unique corner of Kent.
