Lots of footpaths, excellent dog walking and cycling routes, and course fishing locally. The village pub "The Plough" is within easy walking distance. Dogs are welcome and the food is excellent. Booking at peak times is advisable. There are regular sightings of Barn Owls, small birds of prey, Buzzards, and Deer. The site is a well maintained part sloping field, with lots of room to spread out and point in any direction, there are two, three point hook ups about 30 metres apart, parking on top of each other is unnecessary and should be avoided! Entrance is by the village school on the road through the village, not up any side roads. Arriving at 8.45am and 3.30pm should be avoided, school traffic! The pub does tend to get very busy and the parking in the village is not great so try and avoid arriving at lunch time at the weekend!!
WINTER 1st October to 30th April £20 plus electric at 25p per kwh SUMMER 1st May - 30th September £22.00 per night inclusive of occupants, awning, dogs! including 10kwh of electric, meter read on arrival and departure bring cash for extra units used, awning heaters use lots of electric!! Electric car charging by prior arrangement. OFF GRID £20 PER NIGHT
